摘　　要：礼貌原则于20世纪80年代提出,与合作原则并称为交际两大原则。在全球经济一体化发展背景下,各国之间加快了经济贸易来往,商务信函便发挥积极沟通作用。为促进双方友好交流,在英文商务信函中非常关注礼貌原则应用。礼貌原则是加强沟通有效性、成功性的必要前提。文章便以此展开分析,探讨礼貌原则对英文商务信函的影响和具体应用,并提出应用时的注意事项,以供参考。The politeness principle was put forward in the 1980 s,and it is reed the two principles of communication together with the principle of cooperation.In the context of the development of global economic integration,economic and trade exchanges between countries have accelerated,and business letters have played an active role in communication.In order to promote friendly exchanges between the two parties,great attention is paid to the application of the politeness principle in English business letters.The politeness principle is a necessary prerequisite for enhancing the effectiveness and success of communication.This article will use this to analyze,discuss the influence and specific application of the politeness principle on English business letters,and put forward the precautions when applying it for reference.
