摘  要:基于现行电磁制动装置的结构特点,提出了一种能够应用于薄板坯连铸过程的新型电磁制动装置,即立式组合电磁制动,并借助ANSYS FLUENT软件模拟了立式组合电磁制动下紧凑型带钢生产(CSP)结晶器内的冶金行为。结果表明,应用立式组合电磁制动,其水平磁极能够降低钢水的冲击深度,促进夹杂物上浮去除;其立式磁极能够有效的降低表面钢水流速,提高钢水温度分布均匀性,促使凝固坯壳均匀生长,进而达到电磁制动的冶金效果。Based on the structural features of the current electromagnetic braking(EMBr)configuration,a new type of EMBr was proposed,which can be applied to the thin slab continuous casting process,namely Vertical-Combined Electromagnetic Braking(VC-EMBr).The multiple behaviors of metallurgical in CSP funnel-shaped mold were numerically simulated under the brake of VC-EMBr through ANSYS FLUENT commercial software.The results indicate that the horizontal magnetic poles of VC-EMBr can reduce the penetration depth of molten steel and promote the floatation and removal of inclusions.The vertical magnetic poles of VC-EMBr can suppress the molten steel surface velocity and improve the homogeneous temperature distribution in the mold region,which accelerate the uniform growth of solidified shell,and then achieve the metallurgical effect of electromagnetic braking.
