摘　　要：通用电气(GE),这个曾经代表了美国电气时代辉煌的商业巨头,如今却已英雄迟暮。GE前身是"发明大王"托马斯·爱迪生于1878年创立的爱迪生电灯公司,在当时美国金融界绝对大佬摩根家族的支持下,该公司商业版图迅速扩张,并在1892年合并各项业务后更名为爱迪通用电气公司。GE是唯一一个自道琼斯工业指数设立以来,就一直未曾凋落榜单的公司。它不仅在美国经济体系中扮演着重要角色,更是全球制造业的领头羊。GE, a once-brilliant business giant in the American electric age, now the hero is dying. When the moon is full, it loses, and when the end is great, it seems to be an unbroken truth. Changes in times often choose key events as "symbols," by which they signal and warn, but they are not easily captured and read in many noises. GE’s recession is such a key event that it tells people that an old age is over and that ideas, practices, patterns are outdated.
