摘 要:士娶盲女事迹始见于晚唐、北宋文献中出现诸例关于士人不不悔婚约、不弃盲女的记述。这些“娶瞽”事迹有着类似的情节模式——男方订立婚约时女子尚未失明,待男方科举题名后(或暗示男方拥有光明前途),未婚妻突然失明,女方家庭主动提出退婚,但男方却选择不悔婚约,毅然娶瞽女为妻。南宋时期,士人的“娶瞽”行为被赋予了更多的道德意涵,人们将其视为仪表天下的卓绝之行。随着南宋劝善运动的兴起,“娶瞽”也被阐释为获取世俗福报的手段,以期化民成俗。元明清时期,士庶“娶瞽”现象蔚然成风,由此“娶瞽”彰卓行、获福报的程式化书写常见于后世各类文献中。Scholar married a blind wife was initially seen from documents of the late Tang Dynasty and the Northern Song Dynasty,including records about some scholars never annulling marriage engagement with a blind female.Noticeably,such phenomenon of“marrying a blind wife”has similar plot-when the marriage engagement formed,the woman wasn't blind,but after the man succeed in the government examination(or had a promising future),his fiancee suddenly got blind.Although the fiance’s family asked to break off the engagement,the man chose to marry the blind wife without hesitation.In the Southern Song Dynasty,the behavior of a scholar marrying a blind wife was endowed with more moral meanings.People usually viewed it as an exemplary behavior in the whole nation.With the surge of the movement for good deeds in the Southern Song Dynasty,“marrying a blind wife”was also interpreted as a way to acquire worldly blessings,expecting it to be a custom,During the Yuan,Ming and Qing Dynasties,the phenomenon of“marrying a blind wife”was prevailing,so the standardized records of acquiring worldly blessings were commonly seen in the documents of later generation.
