摘　　要：监狱学作为专门研究监狱管理的一门学科是伴随清末民初监狱改良出现的,作为监狱学研究载体的学术刊物在民国初期创办。现有史料表明,整个民国期间只有三种由监狱协会主办的监狱学研究刊物。监狱学刊物在推动监狱学学科发展和监狱改良的过程中发挥了一定的作用,但由于受战争、办刊经费、稿件来源以及缺少专业办刊人员等因素的影响,监狱学刊物难以为继,但其学术价值毋庸置疑,是研究民国监狱制度重要的载体和史料。As a discipline specializing in prison administration,prison science came into being along with the development of prisons in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China era.Academic journals were also issued during the early days of Republical period as a carrier of prison science research.The historical materials so available indicated that there were only three journals on prison studies that were sponsored by the Prison Association through the whole period of the Republic era.These journals have played an active role in promoting the development of prison science and the improvement of prisons.However,due to various factors like wars,funds,source of manuscripts,and lack of professional staff,it was hard for the journals to survive in those days.But their academic value is undoubted and they are an important carrier and historical material for the study of the prison system in the period of the Republic of China.
