摘 要:泉州文化的形成,与历史以来泉州的对外交流之间有着很大的关系。宋元时代是泉州对外交流的巅峰时期,这一时期泉州经济文化状况是当前泉州学的主要关注对象。入明以后,泉州港对外交流减少,发展放缓,明清时期泉州社会的研究也较少有人关注。值得注意的是,明末以来西方天主教和基督新教传教士在泉州的传教活动,把泉州带入新一轮的中外文化交流中。外文传教文献,指明末以来天主教和基督新教传教士在泉州传教时写下的书籍与书信。这些资料多为外文写就,其中有不少详细记述了泉州社会各方面状况,对于我们了解明清泉州社会有很大帮助。善用这些资料,对于泉州古城研究、泉州人社会生活研究,以及中西文化接触对泉州社会文化影响的研究等,都有很大帮助。The formation of Quanzhou culture has a great relationship with the foreign exchange of Quanzhou in the history.The song and Yuan dynasties were the climax period of Quanzhou’s foreign exchange.The economic and cultural status of Quanzhou in this period is the main object of current Quanzhou studies.After the Ming Dynasty,Quanzhou port declined,and less attention was paid to the study of Quanzhou society in the Ming and Qing period.It is worth noting that since the end of the Ming Dynasty,the missionary activities of western Catholic and Protestant missionaries in Quanzhou brought Quanzhou into a new round of cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries.Foreign missionary literature refers to books and letters written by preachers in the late Catholic and Protestant missionaries in Quanzhou.These materials were mostly written in foreign languages,many of which describe in detail the various aspects of Quanzhou society,giving us great help to understand the Ming and Qing Quanzhou society.To make good use of these materials will be of great help to the study of the ancient city of Quanzhou,the social life of Quanzhou people,and the influence of Chinese and Western cultural contact on Quanzhou society and culture.
