摘　　要：疾病书写是文学场域中的重要主题,是作家创作的独特审美视角。尤金·奥尼尔在戏剧《进入黑夜的漫长旅程》中对“疾病”做出医学意义上的病理描写,蕴含了剧作家对个体生存处境的探索和对民族社会的思考和体悟。以“疾病”为切入点,力图阐释历史文明进程中人物的精神和心理状态,剖析奥尼尔的创作成因,企图对人类与社会开展戏剧治疗层面的观照与疗救。运用桑塔格的疾病隐喻理论阐释奥尼尔戏剧创作的深层动因,洞见奥尼尔在时代语境下的社会责任感,助推了医学与人文学的跨学科研究。Disease writing is an important theme in the literary field and a unique aesthetic perspective of writers'creation.Eugene O'Neill's play Long Day's Journey into Nigh makes a pathological description of disease in the medical sense,which contains the playwright's exploration of individual survival situation and his thinking and understanding of national society.Taking“disease”as the starting point,this paper attempts to explain the spiritual and psychological state of the characters in the process of historical civilization,analyze the causes of O'Neill's creation,and try to cary out dramatic treatment on human and society.This paper uses Sontag's disease metaphor to explain the deep motivation of O'Neill's drama creation,gain insight into O'Neill's sense of social responsibility in the context of the times,and promote the interdisciplinary research of medicine and bumanities.
