摘　　要：毛泽东是伟大的无产阶级革命家战略家、杰出的国际共产主义战士,为中国人民根本利益、中华民族伟大复兴,为世界上被压迫民族解放运动和人类和平正义事业砥砺奋斗,作出了令世人瞩目共仰的伟大贡献。毛泽东一贯重视中国对于人类的贡献,提出中国人民“自立于世界民族之林”的重要论断,形成“中国应当对于人类有较大的贡献”思想,确立实现四个现代化战略目标,建设社会主义现代化国家,指导中国革命和社会主义建设稳健发展。当前,中国特色社会主义进入新时代,新中国已经迈入实现第二个百年奋斗目标的新征程,重温毛泽东“中国应当对于人类有较大的贡献”思想具有重大的现实意义。Mao Ze-dong,a great proletarian revolutionary strategist and outstanding international communist fighter,made great contributions to the fundamental interests of the Chinese people,the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,the liberation movement of the oppressed nations in the world.and the cause of peace and justice for mankind.He always attached great importance to China’s contribution to mankind,putting forward the important assertion that the Chinese people“stand rock-firm in the family of nations”,founding the idea that“China should make greater contributions to mankind”,establishing the strategic goal of realising the four modernisations and building a socialist state,and guiding the steady development of the Chinese revolution and socialist construction.At present,socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era and New China has entered a new journey to achieve its second centennial goal of struggle.It is of great practical significance to review Mao Ze-dong’s thought that“China should make greater contributions to mankind”.
