摘　　要：民主是现代社会一个富有诱惑又充满变数的符号,是现代国家和现代政治的目标追求与重要标识之一,也因此成为衡量政治“文明”与否的标尺。建设民主制度需要遵从本国的历史文化传统、国家制度、发展方式和自身环境。多党竞争式民主是随着工业革命和资本主义社会的发展而诞生的一种民主形式,其本质为资本驱动下的利益集团博弈,具有极大的迷惑性和虚伪性。竞争式民主容易走向极化,在过度竞争中使社会发生撕裂,无法保障社会大多数成员的利益,是发展中国家的美丽陷阱。将西方定义的民主作为全人类民主标准,简单追求形式的雷同,只会带来反民主的怪胎。中国特色社会主义坚持的人民民主制度,是维护社会团结稳定、保证大多数人民群众当家做主的全过程民主。Democracy is a symbol full of temptation and variables in modern society.It is one of the goals and important signs of modern countries and modern politics.It has also become a yardstick for measuring political"civilization".Building a democratic system needs to comply with the country’s historical and cultural traditions,national systems,development methods and its own environment.Multi-party competitive democracy is a form of democracy born with the industrial revolution and the development of capitalist society.Its essence is a game of interest groups driven by capital,which is extremely confusing and hypocritical.Competitive democracy is prone to polarization,tearing society apart due to excessive competition and failing to protect the interests of most members of society.It is a beautiful trap for developing countries.The people’s democratic system upheld by socialism with Chinese characteristics is a whole-process democracy that maintains social unity and stability and ensures that the majority of the people are the masters of the country.The simple pursuit of formal analogy with Western-defined democracy as the democratic standard will only lead to anti-democratic freaks.
