摘　　要：大卫·丹尼森是20世纪美国理论物理学家,他为当时密歇根大学物理系成为理论和实验分子研究的世界中心作出了重要贡献。依据密歇根大学对丹尼森进行的口述采访、相关资料,研究与探讨丹尼森的生平、科学成就及他为密歇根大学物理系所做的贡献。David Denison was an American theoretical physicist in the 20 th century,who contributes a lot to make the department of physics of the university of Michigan become the world center for theoretical and experimental molecular research.According to the oral interviews conducted by the university of Michigan and relevant materials,this paper makes a research and discussion on Denison’s life,scientific achievements and his contributions to the department of physics of the university of Michigan.
