摘　　要：克拉克(George William Clarke,1849-1919)是第一个进入云南进行传教的中国内地会传教士,他的一生包括早期在中国游历、在西南定居生活、在华北定居生活三个阶段。花国香是他在中国使用的中文名字,两个名字对应同一个人。由于参考文献来源单一性、克拉克混用两个名字的原因,学界长期对这个问题存在混淆与偏误。George William Clarke(1849-1919)is the first missionary preaching in Yunnan.His life included three parts,visiting preaching in the first period,settling down and preaching in Southwest China in the second period,settling down and preaching in North China in the third period.Hua Guoxiang actually is a Chinese name used by him to publish papers relating to the work.As the only reference used domestically,researchers usually use these names by mistake.
