摘　　要：资源开发是全球气候变暖下的北极地区两大看点之一,此处的资源包括可再生资源和不可再生资源,前者包括旅游资源、渔业资源、可再生能源等,后者则指石油、天然气、铁矿石等矿产资源。一直以来人们关注较多的是北极航道、油气、铁矿石、稀土等资源的开发和利用,对旅游资源、渔业资源和可再生能源则问津不多。本文研究加拿大北极地区可再生资源的开发和利用现状及其特点,与环北极其他国家相比,加拿大北极地区可再生资源的开发与利用相对较低,在领域和地域上则分布不均,但由于各准省政府的战略和政策上的大力支持,未来发展前景光明。Renewable resource such as tourism,fishing etc.as well as the exploitation of non-renewable resources such as petroleum,natural gas and minerals resources in the Arctic region have come in the focus due to global warming.The public is always concerned about the exploitation of non-renewable resources in the Arctic but have little interest in the management of tourism,fishing and renewable energies.In the article the authors deal with the current status and characteristics of the development and utilization of the renewable resources in the Arctic region of Canada.Compared with those of the other countries around the Arctic,the renewable resources in that region are relatively underdeveloped and lowly utilized as well as not evenly distributed.
