摘　　要：After 1919, a number of translators started to conclude their translation methods, principles or requirements in articles based on the literature translation work since 1897. Among them, Lin Yutang’s Views on Ancient Poetry Translation presented some creative suggestions on removing the obstacles during the translation practice. This paper aim to abstract Lin’s propositions while summary the directions from Lin on modern poetry or other literature forms’ translation.
