摘  要:In mathematical geometry data, we can know through demonstration that after a smooth curve meets a straight line, the other curve will still be smooth. The ideal condition of asphalt pavement is to form a smooth curve (vertical section) which is completely consistent with the design vertical section curve. Of course, due to various objective conditions, this ideal situation cannot be achieved. In the actual construction, what is more considered and implemented is "approximately parallel or basically consistent", that is, most road sections are parallel to the design profile curve, and a small number of transition sections are used to adjust them. The purpose of "parallel" is for flatness and ride comfort, and the purpose of "transition section" is to properly control the thickness. If the transition section can be "smoothly transitioned", flatness and thickness can be considered.
