摘　　要：With the rapid development of China's times, elevator, as an indispensable equipment in people's life and production, its safety has attracted more and more attention. As an important part of the automatic elevator, the wire rope elevator carries all the weight of the elevator. Its service life and quality stability are directly related to the safety of the elevator operation. Many problems are often found in the regular repair, inspection and maintenance of steel wire rope. The wear of the steel wire rope on the elevator is the most easily overlooked place in the maintenance of the elevator. With the increasing service life of modern elevator equipment, the long-term wear of steel wire rope is becoming more and more serious. If it cannot be inspected, maintained or replaced regularly in time;It will cause great potential safety hazards. Therefore, this paper mainly analyzes the damage inspection of elevator steel wire rope and how to maintain it, hoping to provide help to relevant personnel.
