Clinical Observation of Cetirizine Hydrochloride Combined with Montelukast Sodium in the Treatment of Children with Cough Variant Asthma

摘　　要：Objective: to analyze the clinical effect of cetirizine hydrochloride combined with Montelukast sodium (singulair) in the treatment of pediatric cough variant asthma (CVA). Methods: a total of 100 children with CVA admitted to our hospital from January 2020 to December 2020 were randomly divided into two groups. The children in the single drug group were treated with cetirizine hydrochloride, while the combined drug group was added with singulair on the basis of the single drug group. The two groups were compared before and after treatment in terms of immune, inflammatory, respiratory indexes, CVA outcome rate and side effects. Results: after treatment, the immune, inflammatory, respiratory indexes and CVA rate of children in the combined drug group were better than those in the single drug group, P < 0.05. There were no serious adverse reactions in the two groups. Conclusion: cetirizine hydrochloride and singulair have a definite effect on children CVA, which is conducive to the improvement of lung function, and the combination of drugs can further improve the immune state of children, and has a good inhibitory effect on the body inflammation, with high safety and no serious side effects, which is worthy of promotion and application.
