摘　　要：SF6 is an excellent insulation and arc extinguishing medium, which is widely used in cabinet gas insulated metal enclosed switchgear. However, it is a greenhouse gas and will produce toxic gas during arc extinguishing. Therefore, it is necessary to develop and use environmental friendly gas as an alternative to SF6.In the field of medium voltage switchgear, the technology of vacuum breaking technology and environmental friendly gas insulation is becoming more and more mature. The results show that dry air can be used as insulating medium in environmental protection inflatable cabinet in 10kV medium voltage field.
