摘　　要：When using minimalism to carry out industrial product design activities, it is necessary to fully understand the impact of various design elements on it and try to promote the simplification of elements. For designers, they need to simplify each element and then apply it rationally according to the specific design requirements. Judging from its impact, the application of this industrial product design method can further enhance the practicability and appreciation of industrial products. Under the background of rapid changes in social concepts, many designers have fully realized the advantages of this design method and effectively applied it. Judging from its application effect, the aesthetic features are obvious. In the whole industrial product design work, the minimalist style also affects the development of product design work because of its unique characteristics. Therefore, it can be seen that the study of industrial product design under the minimalist style has positive social significance.
