摘　　要：In recent years, Guizhou province has been actively promoting the transformation of old communities. By selecting some projects, the transformation of old communities in cities and towns is combined with the work of "creating a beautiful environment and a happy life together", which can be replicated and popularized, so as to promote the transformation of old communities throughout the province. In 2019, Guizhou province issued a special fund of 700.25 million yuan from the central government for urban affordable housing projects, which was used to transform old urban communities. At the same time, the Technical Guidelines for Renovation of Old Towns in Guizhou Province is compiled as an important basis for the design, implementation, construction, acceptance and management of the renovation of old towns in Guizhou province. In this paper, the reconstruction project of old residential areas in Zhenyuan county city is taken as an example, and a complete reference path is provided from practice.
