摘　　要：Machinery manufacturing is the basis for the development of many fields, from automobile manufacturing to industrial equipment, in modern economic life, machinery manufacturing is inseparable. The continuous development of the economy and technology of the times has higher and more requirements for the machinery manufacturing industry, which also poses a new challenge to the design and application of machinery manufacturing. Chemical machinery and equipment are the key to chemical production. In order to further improve the stability and operational efficiency of chemical machinery and equipment, it is necessary to select reasonable equipment design materials based on factors such as chemical production methods and production environments. It is necessary to fully clarify the characteristics and materials of different materials. Selection criteria can ensure the rationality of material selection. According to the functional characteristics of mechanical products, materials are classified, and appropriate materials are selected based on the goals of reliable quality, economical and practical, environmental protection and green, so as to ensure the normal function of mechanical design products and realize the sustainable development of the mechanical design and manufacturing industry.
