Discussion on the Application of Human-centered Care Model for Dementia Patients in Geriatric Department

摘　　要：Objective: to explore the application value of people-centered care model for dementia patients in geriatric department. Methods: selected cases were selected from the staff of geriatric department of the hospital from February 2020 to March 2022, all of which met the criteria for senile dementia in “Chinas Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Senile Dementia (2018 Edition)”. A total of 58 cases were selected according to the double-blind grouping standard. Each group was divided into 29 cases. The traditional group was given routine care mode, and the observation group was given human-centered care mode. The nutritional status and disability status of dementia patients in both groups were observed. Results: before the intervention, the indexes of hemoglobin, serum albumin and total protein of the two groups of dementia patients were not specific, and the homogeneity had statistical value (P > 0.05). After the intervention, the indexes of hemoglobin, serum albumin and total protein of the two groups of dementia patients increased to different degrees compared with those before the intervention. The increase range of the indexes of hemoglobin and serum albumin of the dementia patients in the traditional group was not statistically significant. The increase range of the indexes of hemoglobin, serum albumin and total protein of the dementia patients in the observation group was significant, and also had specificity P < 0.05 compared with the traditional group. Before the intervention, there was no specificity in organ function, mental function, activity, communication, self-care and other aspects of disability score between the two groups of dementia patients, and the homogeneity had statistical value (P > 0.05). After the intervention, the organ function, mental function, activity, communication, self-care and other disability scores of dementia patients in the two groups increased to different degrees compared with those before the intervention.
