Analysis of the Distribution of Syphilis Seropositivity in Senile Diseases

摘　　要：Objective: to investigate the distribution of positive syphilis serological results in various diseases of the elderly and to provide laboratory basis for the clinical diagnosis, result interpretation and prevention and treatment of syphilis in the elderly. Methods: we collected the test results of syphilis toluidine red unheated serum test (TRUST) who were admitted to our hospital from January 2015 to December 2019 and were aged ≥ 60 years old and were serologically positive for syphilis by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). There were 2964 cases of patients with titer (≤ 1:8), which were grouped and analyzed according to ELISA and TRUST test results (according to titer stock solution, 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 points) and their diseases. Results: the distribution of anti-TP positive in 2964 patients by ELISA: the positive rate of patients with hypertension was 18.16%, and the positive rate of patients with abnormal cardiac function was 17.91%, and the positive incidence rate of diabetic patients was 10.10%, and the positive rate of patients with cerebral hemorrhage was 8.28 %, and the positive rate of lung disease patients was 8.06%, and the positive rate of tumor patients was 7.81%. Compared with male and female patients, the double-positive rate of anti-TP (positive by ELISA method + TRUST method) was 24.79% in males and 24.79% in females. 30.23%, the difference was not statistically significant (P > 0.05);among the 2964 ELISA positive cases, 805 were TRUST positive (5.97% in patients with hypertension, 4.45% in patients with abnormal cardiac function, and 4.45% in patients with diabetes mellitus).
