摘　　要：Yuanzhou District, Guyuan City is located in the peripheral area of the eastern foot of Liupanshan Mountain. Apricot trees in this area are mainly Prunus armeniaca, which mainly grow in the area below 400 mm rainfall in Yuanzhou District. They have strong drought resistance, strong drug resistance, growth resistance and high tree age. The disadvantage is that the late frost has a great influence, and flower buds are easily frozen. Since the founding of new China, Caoxing and Taiyang apricot have been introduced successively in Yuanzhou District, and they have been planted in a large area. In 1980s, a variety of red plum apricot was found in Yuanzhou District. Its fruit is red and green, sweet and thick, but little juice. People call it red plum apricot. Widely planted, it has become a unique planting tree species in Yuanzhou District and surrounding areas, which is of great significance for promoting ecological poverty alleviation, building beautiful countryside and implementing rural revitalization.
