摘　　要：本文将申农信息论中对一般信息系统进行定量描述的信息熵等基本概念及相关的数学表示式引入文献信息学这个新兴的信息科学的分支学科，并用以描述文献信息。In Shannon's Information Theory、the general information systern isquantitatively described by means of the elementary cancepts information entropy etc。and their related mathematical form ulae which have been introduced,by this paper intodoeumentarv information science anew branch discipline of information science and areadopted to describe the doeumentary information。
