摘　　要：文章通过对英国小说《哈利.波特》(1-7册)的内容分析,揭示了图书馆对英国初等教育的重要作用,进而分析了图书馆与素质教育的关系,建议我国在素质教育改革中要重视中小学图书馆的建设。Through content analysis on the Novel Harry Potter(I-VII),the thesis revealed the important function of library to the elementary education in the UK.Furthermore,it discussed the relationship between library and the education for all-around development,and proposed that we should attach importance to the construction of libraries in elementary schools in the innovation of education for all-around development in China.
