摘　　要：在介绍XML数据文档的基础上,讨论了XML数据库处理技术的分类及各自的适用场合;然后分析了NXD的主要特点,以及其相对于XED的应用优势;最后结合"高校数字图书馆"系统的实际开发,提出了基于NXD开发应用系统的一般流程.On the basis of introducing XML data files, discusses the classification of XML database technology and their own applied occasions. And then analyzes the main features of NXD, as well as its advantages in relation to XED. Finally, combining with the development of 'University Digital Library' system, proposes the general development process of application system that based on NXD.
