摘　　要：文章在分析现代汉语缩略语产生原因的基础上,就其结构类型进行了概括性综述,并从修辞角度着重描写现代汉语缩略语的基本修辞功能和附加修辞功能,旨在引导人们对现代汉语缩略语修辞功能的正确认识与应用。On the basis of analyzing the reason for modern Chinese abbreviations' occurrence,the article summarizes the types of structure,describes emphatically the basic and appended rhetorical functions of modern Chinese abbreviations from the rhetoric angle,and aims at helping people to better understand the usage of modern Chinese abbreviations and their rhetorical functions.
