摘　　要：《世说新语》产生的南朝刘宋时期,正是佛教从边缘文化上升为主流文化的时候。其编纂者们大多崇信佛教,其所述人物,多与佛教关系密切,甚或直接为佛教僧侣。这些富有个性化的崇佛士人和佛教僧人的群像,艺术地再现了佛教在东晋时期的活动状况,对后来《僧传》的撰写,尤其是僧人形象的生动描绘,产生了一定的影响。Shis shuo Xin YU(New Stories Retold) was compiled in LIU Song Dynasty in the South Dynasties when Buddhism was rising up from the border culture to the mainstream culture.Most authors believed in Buddhism,and the characters they created had close relationships with Buddhism or were even Buddhist monks.The group images and activities of the scholars who worshiped Buddhism and Buddhist monks artistically reflected the movement and development of Buddhism in the Eastern Jin Dynasty,exerting some influence on B...
