摘　　要：欧洲田园诗拥有两千多年的古老传统,它的传承经历了复杂曲折的过程。其产生的原动力是人们对质朴、率真的思想感情的追求和对与城市生活相对应的田园风光和乡村生活的渴望,因此最初的田园诗多反映人们乌托邦式的理想。在田园诗的发展过程中,现实主义的元素逐步加入,现代意义上的田园诗的界定实际上已经越来越宽泛了。European pastoral poetry has a tradition of over 2000 years.Its inheritance has experienced a complex and winding process.Two of its original drives are people s pursuit for plain and sincere thoughts and feelings and their longing for the rural scenery and the village life in contrast with the city life;therefore,most of the early pastorals reflect people s Utopian ideals.During its developing process,gradually pervaded by realistic elements,pastoral poetry is defined more and more comprehensively.
