摘 要:阐述了实现数字地球系统的关键技术,根据X3D(Extensible3D)的特点和功能,分析了解决关键技术的途径,并提出了基于X3D的数字地球系统的架构。系统采用了客户机/服务器结构,使用视点相关层次细节模型和多层场景叠置模型组织调度数据,利用压缩二进制编码(CompressedBinaryEncoding)压缩数据,满足网络传输需要,添加地物模型和用户替身增加沉浸感,利用JavaApplet操纵外部场景创作接口EAI(ExternalAuthoringInterface)实现人机交互。给出了数字地球系统实验原型。Key issues of constructing digital earth system were addressed. The solutions of the key issues were analyzed according to the characteristics and functions of X3D (Extensible 3D). A network system structure of digital earth was designed based on X3D. The internet-based digital earth system adopted Client/Server model. View-Dependent Level of Detail Model (VDLODM) and Multiple Layers Scene Overlay Model (MLSOM) were put forward to organize and manage data. The data could be compressed by compressed binary encoding to meet the needs of network transmission. Ground feature models and users’ avatars were added to increase immersion, and interaction was implemented by External Authoring Interface(EAI)and Java Applet. An experimental model of digital earth system was developed.
