摘　　要：自上世纪70年代以来,美国的中国城市史研究取得了显著的发展与突破。本文是对半个多世纪以来美及西方在中国城市史研究方面的发展以及美国中国城市史研究与美国史学界中国史学观发展内在关联的一次学术史理。通过回顾,探讨和展望城市史研究的理论与方法论。Since the 1970s,the researches into Chinese City History in America had developed fast and a breakthrough had been made.This paper attempts to sort out the researches into Chinese City History in America and the west and the inner relationship between these researches and development of Chinese historiographical view in the academic circle of American historiography.The paper will probe into the theories and research methodology after looking back on these researches.
