摘　　要：目的对后SARS时期公共卫生和健康的内涵进行反思,探讨检验检疫工作的方向和方法。方法通过论述SARS疫情和卫生检疫措施的作用,对新健康概念的建立进行论证。结论后SARS时期应强化公共卫生的功能,正视传染病对人类健康的威胁,重视国境卫生检疫工作,并对相关的措施进行了探讨。The purpose of this article is to ponder the connotation of public hygiene and health in post-SARS period and to explore the direction and methods of inspection and quarantine work. The author tries to demonstrate the establishment of a new concept of health by expounding the epidemic sit- uation of SARS and the effects of health quarantine measures. The author concludes that in post-SARS period the functions of public health should be reinforced, the menace to human health by epidemic diseases should be taken seriously, and greater importance should be attached to frontier health quarantine work. In this view relevant measures have been discussed.
