摘  要:宽带网的普及使VOD(video on demand)的应用越来越广泛,但传输延迟的抖动影响了播放质量,传统的Smith预估器难以消除这一缺点。本文在速率反馈控制理论框架的基础上,采用改进结构的Smith预估器进行反馈控制,克服由于扰动和传输延迟带来的不利影响,提高了播放质量。The application of VOD has been expanded rapidly with the popularization of broadband integrated services digital network. But the playback quality of VOD is not guaranteed because of the jitter of propagation delay. It is difficult for conventional Smith predictor to overcome them. On the basis of the control-theoric scheme of rate-based traffic control, the Smith predictor with improved structure is designed to overcome the adverse effect caused by propagation delay and jitter. The playback quality of VOD is greatly improved.
