摘　　要：任应秋是当代颇负盛誉的中医学大家、理论家、临床家、教育家 ,毕生殚精竭虑、谨勉勤奋、功力扎实、基础雄厚、学识渊博、著述等身 ,寝馈中医学五十余年 ,为继承发扬中医学作出了重大贡献。被中医界尊为旗手、泰斗、导师、擎天柱 ,堪称一代名医、一代大师。他毕生刻苦勤奋 ,严谨治学 ,是一位对中医事业怀有极大热忱的猛士 ,自强不息 ,谦虚谨慎 ,终生不懈 ,持之以恒 ,对中医学有博大精深的研究 ,探骊得珠、提要钩玄。Ren Yingqiu was known as a great master, a theorist, an excellent doctor and an educator in the field of traditional Chinese medicine. He studied and worked diligently and seriously all his life, thus had a profound knowledge and superior medical skills. He devoted 50 years of his life to the cause of traditional Chinese medicine and made great contribution to inheriting and developing it. He was admired as a leader and a guider in TCM field. He was really worth the name——a great master.
