摘　　要：民族史研究的过去与现状可以概括为曾经的辉煌与当下的尴尬。中国近代民族关系史研究是推动民族史学发展与创新的一个重要领域,其研究的基本对象与路径是需要厘清和重视的问题之一。The past and present situation of ethnic history study could be summarized as refulgent in the past and discomfiture at present.The research on the history of ethnic relation in modern China is an important field that would push the study of ethnic history forward and innovated.One of the issues that need to be clear out and paid attentionto is the object and approach of the research.
