摘　　要：本文从讨论知识服务概念及特点入手,着力寻找知识服务与图书馆核心价值的对接点,并在综合国内众多学者对图书馆核心价值观点的基础上,探讨当代图书馆核心价值的内涵及外延,对当代图书馆核心价值就是知识服务的观点进行阐述和讨论。Starting from the definition and characteristics of knowledge service and based on the multiple views of scholars home and abroad on the library s modern library s core value,this paper tries to look for the meeting point between knowledge service and library s core value.The connotation and extension of modern library s core value is explored and the argument is illustrated and discussed that modern library s core value is just knowledge service.
