摘　　要：在系统和应用程序的软件开发过程中,常常使用计数器,用来设置命令的超时时间,触发定时事件等。在Windows系统下,使用内核对象来管理各种各样的资源,计数器内核对象就是其中的一个.主要讨论了Windows、Linux和TCP/IP中关于Timer的实现机制和特性,并给出了应用的例子以供理解.During programming the software of systemand application,the timer is a lways used to set the command timeout and to trigger the event and s o on.The kernel objects are used to ma nage all kinds of source in Windows system,and timer is the one of them.T his article mainly discusses about t he Timer' s implement methods and fea-ture in Windows,Linux,TCP /IP ,and g ive the examples of application.
