摘　　要：利用VisualBasic 5 .0设计了广东省暴雨强对流历史信息查询系统 ,该系统不仅能查询暴雨和强对流天气的历史资料 ,而且能查询发生某类天气的天气形势。此外 ,系统还提供实时天气图与历史天气图之间的比较 。By Using Visual Basic 5.0 programming platform, We designed a historical information retrieval system for heavy rain and severe convective weather phenomena. This system provides a convenient way to retrieve synoptic situations related to some special types of heavy rains and severe convective weather phenomena as well as the data of these weather events. In addiction, the system is able to offer comparisons between realtime and historical synoptic charts, thus is very helpful for weather forecasting.
