摘　　要：简要介绍了兰新线风沙大、海拔高、温差大、限坡大的四大特点及其对机车性能的特殊要求 ,详细阐述了针对这些特点进行的东风11型机车设计改进 ,并简要介绍了其高原性能试验、牵引运行试验和实际运用情况。The details of the design improvement of DF 11 locomotives for the Lan-Xin line which features strong storm, high altitudes, large differences in temperature, long and steep slopes and thus brings about special requirements for locomotives are given, with the brief description of the highland performance test, tractive performance test and application of DF 11 locomotives.
