摘　　要：清初四大名僧之二的弘仁，生于明万历三十八年(1610年)，卒于清康熙三年(1664年)。俗姓江，名韬，义名舫，字鸥盟．六奇等。安徽歙县人。明亡后出家为僧．法名弘仁，名渐江、无智、渐江学人等．晚年号梅花古衲。他早年家境贫寒．父丧后奉母至孝．很小就肩负起家庭的重担，但不忘苦读仕进，曾拜汪无涯为师．读五经．习举子业．从而成为一名诸生（秀才)。Hongren (1610-1664), native of Hexian County, Anhui Province, was one of the four most famous monks in the early period of the Qing Dynasty. As a leader of the Xin'an School of Painting, he was noted for his landscape works. Even before his death, there were many counterfeits of his works, let alone after. The author puts forward three principles in authenticating Hongren's landscape paintings: (1) Master the sources, strokes and conception; (2) knowing well the signature; and (3) the commonly-used seal of the painter. He also draws some diagrams to illustrate his points.
