摘　　要：介绍了小波变换理论,利用小波变换实现图像压缩,指出了小波变换的优越性,根据图像压缩性能的评价标准与传统的DCT变换压缩图像作了比较,结果表明:基于小波变换图像压缩方法的性能要优于DCT变换.Based on the theory of wavelet transform,the method of image compression and its superiority are introduced.According to the evaluative criterion of image compression,one image is compared with the traditional one compressed by DCT transform.The results indicate the capability of wavelet transtorm is better than that of DCT transform.
