生成语法理论与句法象似性的一致性

摘　　要：语言象似性是近些年来认知语言学的研究热点 ,据认为语言象似性对以Chomsky 为代表的生成语法构成严重威胁。本文通过分析生成语法中的两个重要理论:X -Bar理论和语迹理论 ,指出语言象似性 ,特别是句法象似性与生成语法并不是对立的 ,相反 ,可在生成语法理论中得到最大程度地反映。A theme running much recent work in the functionalist literature in linguistics is that grammatical structure to a considerable degree has an iconic motivation and it is commonly held that iconicity in language poses serious challenge to Chomsky s generative grammar.
