摘　　要：文章紧扣 2 0世纪世界经济发展的历程 ,论述了 2 0世纪是人类社会有史以来经济发展最为迅速 ,取得巨大成就的世纪 ,特别是科学技术的发展。其中 ,美国的崛起 ,一跃成为资本主义世界的霸主尤为突出。它拥有着世界社会生产力的最高水平。同时 ,作者也展示了其他国家、地区和国际组织的发展情况。但在短时期内 ,几乎没有取代美国的可能 ,并预言 :在人类社会进入 2 1世纪之后相当长的一段时间里 ,世界经济多极化的格局仍将继续保持一超级多强的特点。The article is closely linked with the history of the worlds economic development in the 20th century.
