英语笑话中的前提的研究

摘　　要：前提和话语之间有着密不可分的关系,任何一句话语都必然有着某种前提。破坏"合适性"和"共知性",故意误解前提,制造前提对照,利用歧义篡改前提以及巧妙利用前提改变句子重心,都可以达到在英语笑话中制造幽默的目的。There is a tight link between presupposition and utterances and each utterance underlies a certain presupposition.Breaking up 'felicity' and 'mutual knowledge',purposely misunderstanding presupposition,producing presupposition contrast,using ambiguity to distort presupposition and skillfully using presupposition to shift the focus of the sentence can reach the goal of producing humor.
