摘　　要：近代西方教会在特殊的历史环境中,首先在教会大学中倡导了中西合璧新式样建筑,拉开了中国传统建筑艺术复兴的序幕,并逐渐发展成为一种具有特殊意义的现代建筑风格。该文探讨了岭南大学创建时的社会文化背景,追溯了岭南大学的创建过程,归纳其校园规划特点,评析了岭南大学建筑的艺术特征,并对建筑形态的成因进行了合理的推论,进而指出了这一案例在中西文化交流中的积极作用和社会文化影响。In modern historical environment,modern western church first advocated a new architecture style which combined both western and Chinese characteristics in church university,which started the renaissance of Chinese traditional architecture.It gradually developed to be a modern architectural style with special significance.This paper discusses the social and cultural background,the building process,the characteristics of the planning and the architecture of Lingnan University,and then draws a reasonable inference on the causes of the architectural form.It in turn points out the positive effect and social and cultural influence this case had on the sino-western cultural exchange.
