摘　　要："费厄泼赖"一直是竞技体育乃至社会竞争所依据的最高法则。运用词源学和历史考察的方法,挖掘了"费厄泼赖"的词源学解释,追溯了其发展演变的社会背景和历史根源,并结合当今体坛现状,对竞技体育中的"费厄泼赖"现实体现。Fairplay is always the highest principle of competitive sport and social competition.The paper looks to the explanation in etymology,examines the social background and roots of fairplay,analyzes and expects the future of fairplay in competitive sport according to the status quo by using methods of etymology investigation and history research.
