摘　　要：本文是作者对如何利用课外时间提高学生英语水平的一点探索与尝试。传统的教学目标仅限于课堂有限的时间内,不重视课外学习,但是多年的教学体会告诉作者,引导学生学会利用课外时间学习更有助于激发他们学习英语的热情,从而促使其爱学习、乐意学习、学会学习并学习好。This article is an attempt to suggest ways of teaching English for Chinese students. Traditionally, our Chinese teachers consider their classroom activities the only way of teaching, and their work after class not so important. But gradually, as a Chinese English teacher who has worked in a vocational college for years, the author observes that the practice outside the class is equally important.
