摘　　要："尚中贵和"理念是中国传统思想文化的精髓和特质。两千多年来,在这一理念的引导下,中华民族始终倡导和谐与和平,为世界文明宝库增添许多以和为基调的美好乐章。在新的历史时期,代表着先进文化前进方向的中国共产党一如既往地弘扬光大这一优秀的文化传统,提出了携手建设持久和平、共同繁荣的和谐世界的重大战略理念。The idea of'worshipping the mean and valuing the harmony'is the soul and core of traditional thoughts and culture in China.For thousands of years,the Chinese nation has been advocating harmony and peace under the guidance of this idea,thus adding some pieces of harmony to the treasures of the world civilization.In this new era,the Communist Party of China representing the advanced culture has developed this cultural tradition and put forward the important and strategic idea of building a harmonious world of long-lasting peace and common prosperity.
