摘　　要：国际标准书号ISBN是图书检索中的一个重要检索点。ISBN从10位升到13位,如何使用MARC21格式对其进行规范、标准的著录,是提高西文图书利用率的重要保障。ISBN(International Standard Book Number)is an important access point for retrie- ving the books.Now ISBN is from 10 digits to 13 digits.To catalogue them correctly using MARC21 is the important guarantee to improve the usability of the western language books.
