摘　　要：1944年侵华日军发动“一号作战”,河南省中西部几乎全部沦陷。为继续抗战,拯救豫西人民于水深火热之中,中共中央审时度势,决定创建豫西抗日根据地。1944年7月,中共派遣皮定钧、许子荣等率部挺进豫西,积极打击日军,从而掀开河南抗战新篇章。In April 1944, the Japanese invaders launched the Henan Campaign. Though Chinese soldiers fought bravely with the fierce enemy, the government of Kuomintang suffered great failure and almost lost the whole area of Henan province in less than one month. In order to strike the invaders continually and save the people from the Japanese force, the Chinese Communist Party commanded Pi Dingjun's & Xu Zirong's troops to rush into the western area of Henan province to found the anti-Japanese base. And that unfolded a new page of Henan history.
